Simple Steps to Healthy Living & Sponsor Love Day 2

I have more amazing ladies for you to meet today! Yay!!

We eat organic, no red meat, plus recycle and reuse. Recently I've done away with store bought laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and paper products. What a great way to help our planet and save a some cash! 


I try to live a healthy life, but honestly, I could be doing a much better job at it. The one thing though I'm pretty proud of is I've been soda free for over 3 months now. Not one single sip. Have to admit though a Sierra Mist or Mountain Dew sounds pretty amazing right now. :)


In december I started Weight Watchers. I learned so much from joining, I made a promise to myself and to my family that I would start cooking better. Or actually cooking. We have almost completely knocked out all processed foods, I make most of the meals for us from scratch. Of course there are a few things that my husband won't give up, and Oliver does love some cereal but for the most part they are learning that cooking can be fun and healthy eating isn't boring. 


Two things I've done lately for healthy living. In April I stopped drinking soda. On May 1st I started a 30 day juice fast. It been so cleansing to my body and helped in ways I can't express. It's been really hard though. It takes a LOT of willpower. 


I hope you're feeling inspired! I know I am. It's always so encouraging to hear of others taking those steps towards better health to keep us motivated on our own healthy journey!
