Of course, for college students, there's always that summer class to be taken and that's why I wanted to share a little bit about CampusBookRentals a really cool book rental program available for college students that I just recently became aware of.
I know when I was in college, the idea of spending that much money on books that I would only use for a few short months was so discouraging, especially the super expensive books for gen ed classes. Selling the books back at the end of the semester was the only good thing about that hefty price tag at the beginning of the semester, but even then, the money I got in return was minimal in comparison to how much I'd dished out.
That's why I love the idea of renting books! How handy it is to know you can save up to 90% by renting instead of buying! A few things I like about CampusBookRentals is obviously the savings, but also the free shipping, the ability to still highlight the books (I'm a huge highlighter, I think it's the only way I learn!) and flexible renting periods.
Seriously nice perks...but what I love the most about this organization is that with each book rented, they donate money to Operation Smile. That literally puts a smile on my face! Operation Smile is an amazing organization that performs life changing cleft lip surgeries to children whose families would normally not be able to afford such a surgery. Talk about an awesome partnership!
If you're a college student or know of a college student struggling to afford the books needed for each class, I would definitely recommend this site! If you try it out or already use it, I'd love to hear about it!
