Is it time for a new name for my blog?


So my hubby keeps telling me it's time for a change...we are not longer in the suburbs and and with our city living, he thinks I need a new blog name (plus don't you think my current name is kind of long??) :)

I think he's right...but I would love to hear from you my readers...

Would it be too confusing?

Would you still read my blog?

What should I name it?

City Mama and NYC Mama are both taken....hmmmm

So, what do you think? Honestly! And I'm definitely open to any and all suggestions you might have! Brainstorm with me please!!

  6. I'd totally read your blog if it had a different name! Same wonderful writer, right?
    As for sugestions. maybe 3 Kids in the City? Corporate Life to City Mom? Life of A City Mom?

  7. One big issue: are you just changing your blog NAME or your blog URL too? Is there a way to do that without all of your followers losing your & whatnot? I would be worried about that, but otherwise, I would still follow regardless of the name. I don't have suggestions, sorry. I actually love your name & think you should just keep it :)

  9. I would for sure still read! But I think Melissa is right! I wanted to change my name a few months back because it's so long and I get sick of typing it, but you really are starting a new blog and I wasn't about to start over. Maybe it's different if your a dot com but not on blogger.

  12. A new name would be a good indicator that you have switched scenery in your life. No one who loves your blog would stop reading merely because of that.

  16. I think that whatever you decide on, just have a notation of your former name up for a while, and that will avoid any confusion. :)
