Hey everyone! My name is Paige and I'm the blogger at Eloping Stethoscope where I talk about a lot of topics about being a newlywed and a nursing student, but I'm not really here to talk about that today.

When I decided to open my business, there was obviously the question of where I would open it. I chose Storenvy which is possibly something you have not heard of yet. It's a lot like etsy, but far better (in my opinion) and it's growing very quickly!
See, it's more customizable. I like that about it. You can basically create any type of shop that you want to. Etsy lets you customize somewhere but not to the same extent.
It's also so quick to set up! You basically type in a username and email and bam! There's your store.
The single best thing about is that it doesn't charge you to list an item, which means you can keep your prices pretty low. If I had used something else that charged to list items, I would have felt like I had to raise prices to get to the same profit.
It offers a thing called "super discounts" which means you can run any kind of sale you want on just part of your store or your whole store. Or you can keep the regular old discounts, but they aren't super.
Another cool thing is that you can follow shops! It's kind of like "favorites" on etsy which is a feature about storenvy that I don't really think people know about yet!
Before I got the shop and the only reason that it really worried me getting the shop, is that you have to work harder to get your shop out there, but really...you have to work hard no matter what to get sales in your shop. So for me, that's not really a drawback.
The guys that run it are great also! They are on twitter and if you're having a problem, you can just tweet them! Of course, there's also the traditional method of email too, but it really is so quick to be able to jot a quick tweet and have your question answered.

It's so user friendly and so easy to list an item and you can even join little communities of shops that have the same kinds of items you do which is great!
So, stop by my shop and check it out for yourself! I promise you will not regret opening a storenvy store!
